I just spent 4 days here with my mom Betty Perez after she had her kidney removed due to cancer. I was very impressed with the hospital and the staff here. Dr. Templeton's no nosense approach and kind bedside manner was much appreciated. Jill was the most compassionate RN I have ever met and Amy was amazing (She was ninja like making sure she didn't disturb her while looking after her through the night. 😁) The aid Courtney was fantastic as well. She made her comfortable in a situation where there wasn't much comfort to be found.

Our past experiences have been very good. Due to it being a surgical center, sometimes doctors run late or get hung up at another hospital longer than expected. But the surgery center is very professional and has a great system of updating the patient and family. Waiting areas are clean and quiet with TVs along the walls. Surgery center is clean and well kept inside and the staff is absolutely amazing. Seriously, I usually tell people to go straight to Houston if they are able to for a major medical disaster. Central Louisiana Surgical Center is the only facility in CenLa that has offered us the same quality of care for the patient and family that we saw in Houston.

The nurse I had, Michael, was awesome. Funny and only stuck me once. I'm laying here waiting for surgery, but I'm sure the servicr from here on will be 5 star as well.
