I want to tell everyone that there is pain relieve for those suffering from Post Herpetic Neuralgia (P.H.N.). After trying many pain medications, patches, cool compresses and even Nerve Root Blockers treatments nothing helped with the P.H.N debilitating condition. I met Dr. Amy M. O'Donnell, Chiropractic Physician to try an innovative treatment named MLS laser. After six weeks of treatment, the level of my pain was reduced to 85%. Now I'm able to sleep much better due to the treatment as well as continue working in a very stressful job without the agonizing pain. When I met Dr. O'Donnell, I felt at ease in her care. Dr. O'Donnell is most compassionate and exceptional listener, which is extremely helpful, to the progress of my treatment. I continue meeting with Dr. O'Donnell for treatment and I trust that I will feel better soon. I recommend Dr. O'Donnell to anyone who needs to improve the quality of their lives. There is hope with Dr. O'Donnell.

My 22 year old daughter has been having on and off pain in her neck and upper back for the past year. I recently brought her to Dr. O'Donnell. Dr. O'Donnell's examination was extremely thorough, she asked many questions, and most importantly - she listened. She did some soft tissue work on my daughter, some very gentle adjustments, and gave my daughter detailed descriptions of exercises and positional changes that would help her condition improve and prevent further pain in the future. She's very professional but also friendly and very comfortable to talk to. Highly recommended.

Dr O'Donnell helped me with a long term neck problem and some back issues. I was in pretty bad shape and could barely move. Things improved quicky because of her treatment but what makes a difference is that she really invested in preventing the injury to come back and strengthen the weak parts in your body, such as your core. She gave me a lot of good exercises. As a person she is most kind and interested in your well being. I really recommend her to anyone that want to invest in your body and feeling better.

I had the pleasure to work with Dr. O’Donnell from May 2015 through mid September 2015, and have nothing but the best to say about her not only as therapist, but as a person as well. I have had degenerative discs and lower back issues for the past 7-8 years, and numerous injuries along the way including a hip labral tear a few years back. This past season I tweaked my back, long story short I had a pinched nerve at L4 L5 and ended up getting a lower lumbar L4 L5 discectomy in March 2015, I missed practically the whole entire season. When I got back into CT for the summer and started seeing who was around to rehab with, I ended up coming across Dr. O’Donnells name, and went in for a meeting with her. She was very very thorough with the initial screening, going over my whole history with me, seeing how I moved, what I thought I needed to work on, and what she was seeing. I am pretty picky when it comes to who I have treat me and can be a demanding patient, but she was very open with me and worked with me, she didn’t just say this is what we are going to do. We used the graston technique which I have used before for years, but she is by far the best person I have ever had do graston to me, super knowledgeable about it and very very in tune with how I wanted to progress with it. We also used the laser on my lower back, I had never used it before and wasn’t expecting much from it, but between the graston, laser, and active release from her, I could not have asked for a better treatment program. Over the course of the five months we spent together I truly got better every session and by mid summer I was feeling normal again. Being a professional athlete, working out, skating, training, its a lot more wear and tear on my body than a normal individual, and she was still able make me feel like I was always moving in the right direction. She is positive, upbeat, very informed, and the biggest thing that jumped out at me was the fact she was always willing to take my suggestions into consideration to help make my treatment the best it could be. From working on my lower back, loosening my hamstrings, hips, quads, etc she always was striving to make sure not only my back, but my whole body was moving and working properly in order to not only feel better, but continue to work in unison and prevent future issues. Dr. O’Donnell is truly a one of a kind therapist and I am very grateful I came across her name and was able to work with her this summer. She’s a great person who cares about her patients and is always willing to go the extra mile for you. Nick Petrecki Professional Hockey Player NHL/AHL
