The staff has been very attentive to my needs and concerns. Great people all around. Had to return today after being released. Being readmitted now . The nurses and care practitioners on 8NW are going to be surprised I'm back so soon! They're all wonderful up there.

I grew up and was raised in Spencer NY! Myself plus all my kids were born at Packer and many other family members. I no longer live in NY but this is something I felt should be shared heir to try to help even 1 person. I have also posted this with a few hospitals local to us. πŸ™ Please I beg anyone reading this look up and watch the podcast !!!πŸ”₯πŸ™ Remember it is your right to dictate care and say what goes even if its against protocols! All of this is because of CDC protocols because that's what they are mandating and making patients think they do NOT have a choice. You or a patients advocate have a CHOICE to say what happens regardless of "protocols"!πŸ”₯πŸ™ Im writing as of 8/20/21 ... Im learning threw direct contact with family of a current ICU COVID-19 patient as im writing this. They are convincing coherent talking patients with lung "inflammation" to be put on a vent.(making walking talking patients sign themselves away to be sedated and given paralytics/ medicine to paralyze them and keep them in a vegetable state) So instead of being with a patient one on one care and giving them nutrition to get better their doing this?! Think about it LONG and HARD and fight for your family FIGHT for their right to quality care. It takes a lot less staff to physically be with a patients making them walk threw pain, give them high dose vitamins and emotionally supporting them then it does to put them on a vent and "monitors" with alarms!!!πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

I've had nothing but bad experiences with Guthrie, this last visit to occupational health was the most recent. I was denied my workers compensation case due to the doctor being " good friends with the owner" of a local company I work for. Never again will I go to another Guthrie clinic or hospital again even if my life depended on it.
