Everyone at Ortho VA Reston from the doctors to the staff have always been outstanding and very professional. Special shout out goes to Dr Harley. I personally recommend any of the doctors to anyone I come in contact with at work that needs a Ortho Doctor. A+
I recommend Ortho Va and more specifically Dr Hartley. I went through a process where over a number of years my knee was deteriorating and at no point was I ever pressured into surgery. The focus was entirely on my quality of life and getting back to what I was accustomed to doing from a physical exercise standpoint. Eventually I did opt for knee replacement surgery and the results have exceeded my expectations. Dr Hartley takes tremendous pride in his craft and patient outcome. It does require a patient commitment to do the pre-op exercises as well as the post op rehab and at home exercises.
On 03/22/2018, I broke my arm, ruined my face and hand, and scratched up my glasses after slipping on some ice. On 03/23/2018, I went to OrthoVirginia and was given a cast and some heavy Tylenol. The front desk receptionist told my mother and me to "come back in a week." Then, on 04/02/18, I returned to OrthoVirginia to get my cast removed and the same receptionist told me to "come back in a month." I called my mom up to the receptionist's desk and she got confrontational with the front desk receptionist. We were nudged around. Another patient from Front Royal also had his appointment botched up. They should've told me to come back in a month the first time we saw them or they should've honored our original appointment on 04/02/2018. We finally got another appointment at the same day but at a later time in the afternoon. That is unacceptable. Go to Town Center Orthopedics if you want to be treated with respect for any broken arms.
I saw Dr Klein for shoulder pain and was given an x-ray and a cortisone shot for treatment. The cortisone shot was ineffective for the pain. Shortly after my visit, I received a bill for $172.73 for services rendered after the insurance had paid its part. The office charged $388 for the cortisone short. I find this pricing ridiculous. When I complained to the front desk of the cost, I was told to leave a message with the person's supervisor. Instead of reaching her voicemail, he hung up on me! Terrible experience. The fees are ridiculous in this practice. Stay away
Dr Mazahery is an ultimate professional. I have had multiple spine surgeries with him. Each time he treated me as if he were treating one of his own family. I would highly recommend him if anyone is looking for a world class spine surgeon.
