Another case of good doctor bad nurse at best. All I wanted was to follow up. I went to the emergency room, a cat scan showed Chiari malformation which would explain the migraines and numbness in my right hand and foot. When I checked with your office I was told my cat scan was normal? So frustrating to me and confusing. I hope another neurologist won’t find it either.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is honestly one of the least professional doctors I’ve been to. Throughout our entire intake appointment Dr. Kroeger spoke over me, invalidated some of my symptoms because of my age, and then ordered three tests. I left the office and set appointments with the local hospital for one order. I called to make an appointment with another neurology center to carry out another order. None of these orders were fully completed. I spent money having my jewelry removed for these procedures since I’m not capable of doing it myself. I paid for a ride both to and from the hospital for the procedure just to be told nobody has been able to get ahold of this “Doctor” and her staff. I’ve left three messages in the past week attempting to correct this issue and have received NO RESPONSE despite having related incidents since my last appointment. No patient should have to beg and fight for their health to be taken seriously nor is it appropriate to discriminate based on age in a field of constantly changing and growing information. This office is lazy and rude. It seems they do not care for their patients—just for their wallets. The outright refusal to carry out the standard of care promised to me during my appointment is disappointing and quite concerning for the other patients. I would never trust Dr. Kroeger with the care of something as important as neurology again. EDIT: I just received a call from the hospital confirming the delivery of the completed order for the test I was supposed to have there. (I’ve still received no communication back from this office lol). This office also sent over the order for a test the hospital is not capable of completing—the one I mentioned I called in to have faxed to another neurology center. For the pure concern of my health I will carry out the scheduled test, but I will be taking my results to a more trusted professional.

The most amazing experience! From Patricia at the front desk, to the vitals tech to the interaction with Dr. Kroeger, it was a 5 star visit. Everyone in this office is very pleasant and caring. Dr. Kroeger put me at ease and explained every single aspect of my condition in a way that was easy to understand. She spent a great deal of time with me making sure that I was comfortable with everything that we discussed. I always say that the people at the front desk are the first line of defense when it comes to a doctors appointment. Well, you know that if the people at the front desk are helpful, kind and patient, then the rest of the appointment will be successful. I would never see another neurologist. This practice is gold!

Dr Kroeger is an excellent neurologist with the ability to direct conversation and patient-choices with a gentle, knowledgeable, and responsibility-promoting professional manner. Coming from Fairfax Neurology where I was treated for ten years, I found the change of pace (more time with her patients), the more holistic concern for emotional AND physical health, and her hesitation to treat minor symptoms with over-enthusiastic infusions a welcome sign of integrity. Office staff was helpful in filling out insurance claim even though they do not accept insurance; they help you fill out the forms for an "out of network" doctor. And her rates are very reasonable.

Dr. Kroger is very charismatic; however, her knowledge concerning my condition was limited and she provided little help. In addition, because she was so overbooked, she could only see me ever 6/8 weeks, leaving me to communicate with her nurse practitioner. She also didn’t run any test and determined my treatment plan off historical medical records which was very ineffective. Her staff is VERY rude and lack patient empathy, especially seeing they deal with people who have brain disorders. Dr. Kroger is very nice but she seems to be a ineffective Doctor. I would recommend, if possible, you find a neurologist in Fairfax or if you have a serious brain condition, visit Johns Hopkins.
