I hurt my back very badly at home. I went by ambulance to the ER where they did no scans but sent me home with muscle relaxers. For the next 3 months I saw Dr. Smith about once per week complaining of horrific pain and saying I could barely walk. She ignored me, gave me more muscle relaxers, and sent me on my way. 3 months later she actually saw me struggling and said "You're really in pain, aren't you?" No s**t. She sent me for an MRI which showed 2 herniated discs in my lower back. 3 months of absolute agony because she's incompetent. She assumed if the ER didn't catch something, there's nothing to find. God forbid she should do her job and look for herself, especially when no scans were done to begin with. Ignoring patients' complaints and giving them ibuprofen is not medicine. She's just there for a paycheck.
My grandmother was a patient of hers for about 20 years. Near the end of her life she was on hospice and had advanced dementia. It was determined she needed a hospital bed. We went to Dr. Smith to get her approval, and she said she needed her to come in for a physical. For 1 thing, she was on hospice! And when I asked Dr. Smith, very politely, if she would be able to get my wheelchair-bound grandmother on the table for the exam because I definitely couldn't, she said no and promptly sent a letter disowning my grandmother as a patient. In the last year of her life! Dr. Smith is heartless, has no care for humanity, and has none of her own. If being a doctor didn't pay so well she never would've gone into that field. $$$ is her 1 and only concern. God help you if you stand between her and her paycheck.

I have to say if you need a doctor that will actually listen, look elsewhere. I went to see Dr. Smith. She calls me into her office and while i sat there she proceeded to talk to me, not
looking at me once while staring at her computer the whole time and told me what I already know. Appointment I paid for her to see me for 5 mins. Then she couldn’t put
in my prescriptions or give me a written one for Cholesterol!! She tells me to tell the pharmacy to call for my new prescription. Usually the Dr. Office does that (especially being new) So I told Dr. Smith and she basically said I have more important patients to see then to deal
with this, and told me find another pharmacy. So the pharmacy was nice enough to call and they were rude to the pharmacist and refused to give them a verbal like she said she would and told
the pharmacist to tell me to come pick up a written. The pharmacist called me and relayed what she said adding in that she was quite unpleasant. This is my very first review for anyone but this is by far worth talking about. Don’t waste you money on a place where your just a customer.

I had my 1st appointment with Dr. Smith as my PCP. The visit was very efficient and easy. My appointment was kept on time. I enjoyed meeting Dr. Smith! I found her to be capable and friendly, a doctor that I could talk to and who appeared to be interested in what I had to say. She and her office assistant were extremely helpful in scheduling required follow-up with other health care providers. I highly recommend Dr. Evelyn Smith.
