I called in for an appointment, a woman named Tina answered the phone. I requested an appointment for the first date/time available next week. She was extremely short told me they are open "monday through friday." I requested the actual date and time that the doctor would be earliest available. She signed loudly on the phone and said "I'm so confused. I think I'm helping you.. I'm telling you that we are open Monday through Friday.. So what day you trying to come in??" I responded, how about Monday? What times are available?" She responded loudly, "WE ARE OPEN 9-5 MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. You could also look on the website if you want to know when we're open. You're looking for an eye exam. We do eye exams. I'm trying to help you and you're not giving me any information!" Typically, when someone calls for an appointment the receptionist gives the dates and times of availability to book the appointment. I told her I did not appreciate her shortness on the phone with me and asked for her name. She says "Tina." I ask if I could speak to another customer service representative, and she tells me Hayley will call me when she is available. This is the worst customer service experience for a doctor's office, I have ever experienced, and it has completely turned me off from booking an appointment for this facility. Either get this woman training immediately, or risk losing more patients. Patients deserve empathy and care from the receptionists to booking the appointment to the actual clinical visit.

The worst experience ever. I called a day before the appointment. I provided my insurance ID number and my last four social security digits. They were able to pull up my account, so we set up the appointment. the following day, I received a text message with visit time. When I showed up, the asked for my last four digits and my insurance card. This time they said they couldn't pull up my account. I asked why they had been able to pull it up the day before. I called my insurance, and they assured me that made so many mistakes in the process. At the end, they were able to find my account and asked me if I wanted to go ahead and do the exam, so I did not want to because they didn't even apologize. They acted as if nothing had happened. I will never go there again.

I brought my son to the Leesburg location for a contact lens fitting. After the exam, the associate was very aggressive with trying to get me to spend $600 on contact lenses. Thank goodness I resisted and took my prescription to Walmart where I got the same contacts and saved over $100. Be prepared for high pressure sales tactics at this location; consider going someplace else.

The doctor thorough and listens to any problem area. The front office/ receptionist is rude and has an attitude. She needs help with her communication. The optical doesn’t have too many frames to choose from but the girl that attends it is friendly.

I really like coming to New Era Eyecare. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me with all my questions about glasses, contacts, and eye health. Would definitely recommend them, I have sent a few friends their way too.
