In December of 2017 I had a microdisectomy done by the Center for Cranial and Spinal Surgery. Doctor Hope and his team are the best! They were very accommodating to get me in quickly for surgery as my pain was very severe. He is very knowledgeable and were very comforting before and after the surgery. Its been a year and a half and I'm feeling great! I would highly recommend that others choose Dr. Hope!

Oh man! Where do I start. I went to Dr Hope after seeing an otrho and being told I needed cervical fusion because of a herniated disc that was causing me pain and headaches. He came recommended by a couple of random people so I felt like it must have been a god thing.. plus his name is Hope.. and i was in so much pain i needed all the hope in the world.
From the very first visit Dr Hope and his staff were so welcoming and professional. He wasn't at all pushy about having surgery but was so attentive when i told him all of my concerns.
I have had some struggles in the past with pain meds and was able to be totally upfront and honest with him about my desire to get through the cervical discetomy and fusion as comfortable as possible and not getting hooked on the medication.
I was so nervous about getting my throat cut open but Dr hope and his staff were so kind and encouraging the entire way! His nurse Monica called me the night before my surgery and was so kind and 100 percent willing to answer all my questions which was so helpful because she literally happened to call me when I was googling all the terrible things that could happen ..which i don't recommend doing. By the time we got off the phone I felt so much better and way less anxious.
On the day of the survery Dr Hope explained everything again to my husband and I and I was sure I was in the right hands.
I wasn't able to have any visitors post op because of Covid but Dr Hope called my cell just to check on me. Which I was so grateful for.
I'm 4 days post op and he has checked on me everyday since my operation . My scar looks great and I have felt so assured that everything is going according to schedule and it makes me feel so incredibly safe that I can pick up the phone and call Dr Hope if I get worried or have any questions.
I had been searching for the answer to my horrible headaches for months and I'm so glad I chose Dr Hope and his staff.
Its not always easy these days to find a doctor who is as experienced as Dr Hope and also as genuniely caring about his patients.
I recommend him 100 million percent and im so greatful for him and his staff!
Thank you Doctor Hope! You have literally been a godsend.

I had been having neck pain for years then recently started tripping and having limited mobility/strength in my right arm. An MRI showed C4-C5 herniated disc compressing my spinal cord. My husband had gone to Dr. Hope five years ago with tremendous positive results. Surgery of this nature can be very serious and I wanted Dr. Hope as my surgeon. There was no pain at the hospital (morphine drip), and I took a pain killer for only one day after my return home. I stopped taking any pain medication after the first day as I didn’t need it. I had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic and called Dr. Hope. He immediately called me back! How reassuring! I returned to work two weeks later, but honestly I could have returned in one week. I highly recommend Dr. Hope! I felt like he and his staff really cared about MY surgery/recovery and that I was not just another number of many patients. Doesn’t get better than that!

On November 17, 2018, I woke up and couldn't move, well barely. I made several visits to my chiropractor, my massage therapist and even my local VA Emergency Room. My Chiropractor ordered x-rays for me. When the x-rays didn't show the problem, he ordered an MRI for me. When he received my images, he relayed to me that two discs in my neck were pinching my spinal cord and I should go for a surgery consultation as soon as possible. He HIGHLY recommended Dr. Hope at Center for Cranial & Spinal Surgery. My consultation was scheduled for December 21st. During this appointment, Dr. Hope explained my situation in a way I understood completely. He recommended surgery sooner than later. Considering the benefits of the surgery and how I was currently feeling, I felt confident in having the surgery done. I had the surgery done on January 10th. It's almost been a month and I have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS. When I wake up, I can feel my arms. I can use my arms. I can move faster. I have more energy. My pain levels are way down for the areas that were treated. During my post op appointments, Dr. Hope answered all my questions (mainly what I could do and when) thoroughly. Having the surgery has changed my life, SERIOUSLY changed my life!!!
