My first visit with Dr. Speck went very well. I learned a lot, too. The only thing i think I would change is the way setting up follow on visits would occur. I would have preferred something a bit more streamlined or a link to a portal of some kind where all of the recommended tests, fees, and follow on recommendations could live vs. paper with some handwritten information.

Dr Speck is by far the best cardiologist I have worked with. She combines a special warmth, professionalism, empathy and knowledge in her work. Steve and the rest of the staff are excellent and responsive.

Staff is always helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. Dr.Speck is very supportive and communicates clearly. She is thorough in her exam and follow up of variables. She listens to questions, both to provide the answer but to identify need for clarification/understanding on information she has already presented. Dr.Speck delivers necessary adjustments of lifestyle needed to improve health without making it personal or seeming like criticism.

This appointment exceeded my expectations. The focus on addressing issues that are present as well as preventative care was a refreshing approach to the "just take this pill" that seems to be the norm. I feel like I have a plan that I can put into place with the support needed if I get stuck.

Dr. Speck is wonderful. I came to see her after not feeling satisfied with the level of concern of my existing providers around my emerging coronary issues, which are mild now but which will become more significant as I get older. She did appropriate testing and gave me advice for. preventative care based on her interpretation of my results. And most of it was covered by my insurance. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
