I would love to give 5 stars to Dr. Yuknis. However, it takes ONE (or multiple - just tolerated it) bad encouter(s) with a specific "front desk person/office staff" that has been making it awkward to contact the office. I have been put off by returning after 35 years. Judging and singling out people based on insurance, insulting them and having attitude with a catty disposition is purely unprofessional. I would have NEVER thought I would have to encountered this kind of behavior in the last 35+ years I've been receiving care there. My entire family helped establish and support this business over the 35+ years. We are third generation patients. I have never felt afraid to call or enter this office until recently when confronted with "unknown" information that was thrown in my face. The fact that my complaint will and has fallen onto deaf ears is heartbreaking. This is not the dentist office I remember from my past as a child or as an adult. I've struggled with even having to make this review. Very disappointing. I'm sure the front desk staff will be happy about losing long time patient over something that could have been "approached and handled" much more differently. If the office manager "needed" to speak to me, they would have contacted me themselves. Leaving it up to a tall, abrupt, loud mouth blond that has no couth, needs to be re-evaluated - unless this is the "new" approach of dealing with patients.
It costs $0.00 to be a kind, respectable human being. Sadly sometimes a review like this, becomes a much needed reminded. Makes me wonder, how many other patients have felt or been treated the same way and just don't say anything.
