Dr. Hunter and staff are very welcoming and they are super nice. Dr. Hunter is very thorough and works with you and her nurse Tiara, listens and cares. Dr. Hunter is a “TRUE” doctor with all the qualities.

This place is a joke!!!! If I could rate it a zero, I most definitely would! My first impression was horrible and I most definitely should have gone with my gut on this one! There were patients drooling on themselves in the waiting room! They were obviously over medicated! The doctor or nurse would NOT allow me to go in the back with my husband. Ridiculous!!!! There was always a two or more hour wait! Please check into the pain specialist you will be seeing! Gather all information you can on them if you are truly seeking relief and not just to have pills thrown at you!!!! Do your research on the medications you are given and if you are looking for a specialist that isn't just going to keep throwing medications at you, this is NOT the person to see!!!!! Be educated and vigilant about your treatment!!!!! When asked to be taken off the pills that she put my husband on, Dr. Pondexter (aka Dr. Hunter) simply disregarded my husband's request!!!! My husband saw this doctor for two years! Two years!!!! All she ever did was throw more pills at him and disregard his requests to be weaned off the medications she had been steadily increasing in dosage over the years leaving my husband and our family to deal with the repercussions on our own with no accountability held to her!!!!! I am beyond amazed at her inability to truly care for her patients properly! This is obviously one of those cases where big pharm is obviously of more value than human life!!!! My husband was simply seeking relief and trusted his doctor (which he should have been able to do), but unfortunately in this America we live in that is not the case!!!!! People pay close attention to the doctor treating you! Don't trust them! Make them earn your trust and research EVERYTHING they throw at you!!!!!!! THIS DOCTOR IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE ANYONE LOOKING FOR PAIN RELIEF NOT TO SEE HER!!!!!!!!!!!

My first vist to see Dr. Hunter was very thorough and the staff was very polite . When I went to the pharmacy I ran into a problem with my insurance and a PA was required and the nursing staff (Roosevelt/Stephen) took care of it in a timely matter and informed me with every step of the process.. Very pleased with the staff at Dr. Hunter's Office:)
