I realize the VA has a really bad reputation for patient care so I wasn’t expecting much when I went to this one. But oh my goodness they really went all out.
I spoke to this nurse because of the amount of pain I am in and because I have blood in my stool. The nurse told me that they were not excepting any more patients over there and then I would have to see care of someone else. I tried to explain to her that I have crippling anxiety and I’m not able to drive to another clinic right now. Then she said I drove there so I can drive some where else. At that point I asked to speak to her supervisor. She then yelled at me that I’m giving her anxiety and called the VA police.
I have never been arrested or had the police called on me before. I went there today seeking help and it turned into an absolutely humiliating experience where I had to be escorted around by the VA police department. I will say this though the policeman that escorted me around was extremely professional and he deserves five stars.
My primary reason for going to the VA is mental health. I think because of my interaction with this person today my anxiety will not let me return to this VA.

I go there regularly, yes they have issues, but get what I go there for 95% of the time no problems .
No horror stories yet I been going since they opened.
What I love is the convenience of the location and saves me trips to phoenix.

I’m so happy to have the East Valley location. I understand services are limited here, but it’s nice not to have to go to Phx each time. This location has easy to find parking, getting into the lab is quick and my appointments run smoothly. I have also attended appointments with my friend and he also has received great service.

Great place. I never have nothing but a great experience every time I go to the VA. This VA and The Phoenix downtown VA. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I had three ladies go above and beyond for my brother and myself. Amazing group of people!!

I literally have the best experience on every visit. I’ve heard tons of below standard stories, but my interactions with the VA has always been positive and professional. Thanks for the wonderful service that each and every one of you provide and know that you are appreciated it.
