I was seen for stomach pains. The nurses that treated me were awesome. I only saw the Dr. for about 5 minutes. Prior to my release the ER attendant Michael. Told me I had to pay $525.00 before I left the ER. If they had to bill me later. My bill will be more than the $525.00. I thought that was ridiculous but paid it anyway. I’m wondering if I overpaid them. Since I was there for about two hours. Not happy with the pressure to pay an estimated amount.

This is the worst run emergency room I have ever used. I brought my daughter in around 8:30 pm with intense pain and vomiting. Our nurse had no bedside manner. She would barely say anything to us other and kept her conversation to simple blunt questions and then leave. It took an hour before they would give her anything for the pain or ask any more questions. They only checked on her a few times in the course of a few hours. The room was very cold yet they never offered my daughter a blanket. I had to ask for one as she was shivering. The doctor finally came in around 11 to say the blood work was normal and recommending a cat scan if she wasn't able to provide urine test. Once urine test was read, blood was detected and she was brought back for cat scan. The tech said it would only take about 30 to 40 mins for the test to come back, but we waited almost 2 hours. The place was not busy. The staff were mostly just sitting at their stations talking. I even overheard one of the doctors talking about mail order brides with one the nurses while I took my daughter to the bathroom. My daughter was diagnosed with a kidney stone, so the doctor was going to send in a prescription for pain meds and anti-nausea pills to use until the stone passes. We were finally discharged at 2:30am. I unfortunately did not read through the discharge notes carefully and did not catch the anti-nausea medication being left out. I also didn’t notice they sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy location. When I called the next morning to get the prescription corrected, Michael at the front desk was rude and refused to help get any communication back to get things corrected. Michael stated the doctor was gone and would not be back for days. He stated that the doctor did not put her chart in system and that there is no way to send a message to the back for another doctor on staff to review and correct the mistake. He said the only way to correct the missing medication was to bring her back in to be diagnosed again. When I mentioned how upset I was and asked for his name, he laughed and said “what are you going to do about it”. Then he said his name was Michael. Really? I will never bring anyone in my family to this facility again. I recommend you drive the next closest ER room and avoid this place at all costs.

They rushed me through not listening to what works for me. Too worried about prescription narcotics rather than listening to me that 800mg IB prof doesn’t work. I wanted narcotics small dose as needed with therapy. They rather kill my liver or kidney with 3- 800 mg IBP daily. Terrible and waste of $200 co-pay. That have a computer they can see I have never been an issue with narcotics

Took my daughter in around 11:00am. There was no testing done except a urine test. I asked the dr if there were more tests that could be done he said no. She was not feeling any better when we left. Picked up the medication prescribed and took her home. The medicine did nothing all day. Took her to another ER at 5:00 and they did blood work, urine rest, and a ultrasound. Nothing the dr said at Abrazo was correct. I was told before I left Abrazo they would be billing me for a ridiculous amount because we had not met our deductible. Do not waste your time at this ER.
