This organization uses deceptive practices. My husband and I had an appointment for an eye exam and we showed up filled out the paperwork. When we turned the paperwork in we were advised there would be a $40 charge to receive the exam results. Our insurance covers 100% of the routine eye exam and 100% for vision exam to diagnose and treat diseases and conditions of the eye. We were never advised of any charges prior to that moment. Since we are on a fixed income it is important to budget accordingly. We left without any examination.

Had an appointment made a few weeks ahead of time for a new glasses prescription and it was made by my provider. I recieved 2 robo calls ahead of time reminding me of my appt. time and a 3rd one just the day before from the clinic itself. When I showed up 15 minutes early the rude receptionest glanced at her desk and said there was no paperwork in my name. She really could have cared less. Luckily I had the phone number of my provider handy and had my phone with me. As luck would have it the lady who had made my original appt with Aiello clinic answered and immediatly looked at her records. Gave the date and time of faxes ro Aeillo clinc as well as the conformation they had been recieved. She also refaxed the very same autorization as I was standing there so I could be seen by Dr Snyder. A clueless front desk since I had 3 prior calls reminding me of my appointment time. I then had what I thought was a very cursory vision test. Dont have my new glasses yet so I cannot comment on the quality of the prescription yet. Having had many vision tests over the years, this was most cursory test ever by a Dr.

Called to schedule an apt with Dr Aiello. The receptionist couldn't seem to grasp the concept, it's the Dr.'s job to examine my eyes to determine what, if anything, needs to be addressed. It's NOT the patents responsibility to "guess" what may or may not be an issue. That is why we pay to have a Dr do the exam and make recommendations based upon his education, training, and experience.

Dr. Aiello was very good. I was seen the same day I was referred by Urgent care and then again when I was having other issues. Neither time did I expect to be seen the same day but was very pleased that I was; however after the second appointment the very rude receptionist told me that I would NEVER be seen the same day again. She said I had used up my chances and I would have to wait in future. I was furious because I never asked to be seen the same day. When I called the office manager she was not helpful or empathetic at all. I don't need to be made to feel chastised by some bimbo who booked the appointment in the first place.

Stay away from this place. They don’t know what they are doing. My wife went here, got a prescription and went to Algodones for glasses. The glasses were made correctly, according to the prescription but the prescription was made incorrectly. Aiello said they would not reimburse my wife because even though the glasses were made exactly correct according to the faulty prescription. They would not make good on the $215.00 spent on the glasses. Their argument is that the glasses were made in Mexico. We returned to Mexico for an eye exam and my wife was told that the prescription made by Aiello Institute was way off and that is why she could not see with the glasses. What difference does that make, the glasses were made correctly, according to an incorrect prescription, written by Aiello Eye Institute. My wife then went back to Aiello and was re-examined by the same person and the new prescription now matches the one that she received in Mexico, proving without a doubt that Aiello Eye Institute was responsible for the glasses being made to their incorrect prescription. My advice is to find a reputable eye center and stay away from Aiello Eye Institute that could care less about their patients.
