Almost always claims medicine is not covered by insurance only to change their minds at times with no explanation. I have even called ahead of my arrival after a surgeon's office told me to do so since "Walmart tends to give trouble." Even though pharmacist reassured me over the phone that the meds were covered, they said they were not once I was in person and the doctor's office was closed. They do not seem professional or knowledgeable. I do not like giving others a bad reputation, but it's the same issues over and over with Walmart pharmacy in Milford. Never had such issues from Rite Aid in Harrington. I have made Walmart my primary pharmacy due to close proximity and convenience of a one stop shop, but I will be changing this because of confusion and lack of good service.😕

On this day I called the pharmacy at Walmart to check to see if my husband's prescriptions were ready. I spoke to Matt the pharmacist and he said they were "going" back on the shelf today. I told him I would be there today and it would be later this afternoon and he said he would put a note on the account so they "WON'T " be put back on the shelf and here Iam being told that they went back on the shelf. I had a appointment to be at and I was borrowing a car to do all this only to get told they will be ready in 10 minutes. So my question is WHY DID I CALL?

Despite heavy volume, have always found staff to be helpful and the pharmacists available to answer questions.

Tacky, tacky tacky!!! Unknowledgeable, unprofessional and classic Milford. Do yourself a huge favor and choose a different pharmacy.

I would give zero stars if I could. I was released from hospital, given prescriptions for major pain management, they denied me because they claimed insurance company denied claim due to technicality, called insurance and after extensive search, stated request for prescription was never sent by pharmacy to begin with... obviously a technical issue on their end but pharmacy was rude, unhelpful and unwilling to resolve issue. CVS was more than happy to fill my meds (way nicer about it too)- Lost my business for good due to unnecessary pain, lack of consideration and basic manners.
