The doctor himself is great... unfortunately his office staff are not. Greedy uncaring liars. Instead of helping you get medications refilled, they prefer to make you go in (uninsured) for a $175 visit to have meds refilled even when it's the choice of paying for food vs the doctor apt just to get a refill, not to mention cost of the medication being unobtainable if you have to pay for the visit. I had always paid every visit when I worked and had insurance without a problem. I lost my job a few months ago and am struggling with pain. I called to see if I can get a refill, the office staff would not allow me to speak with the doctor without paying $175. Said he would not be bothered to take my call. One medication is controlled and requires the visit, I understand this... the other medication I believe does not require the visit, yet they are not willing to work with me with a refill sent to pharmacy because of greed. Pure greed. Uncaring creeps. I hope you don't ever find out how it is to live in chronic unending pain and lose your job. It's a bad situation made worse with pain. Makes me literally want to give up when pain is this bad and healthcare workers show their true colors of not caring.
