Highly recommend Gulf Coast Eye Care! Conveniently located, with friendly receptionists and awesome technicians. Consistently smooth process from start to finish, with eyeglass sales and fitting onsite. Dr. Nguyen is the best! I’d been in the same contact lens brand for years but he took the time to chat with me and recommend a better one with a different prescription. It’s been a game changer for me and I’m super appreciative.

Extremely pleasant surroundings. Staff friendly & helpful. Medical needs handled in prompt & professional manner. Dr Manning performed cataract surgery on my daughter. Being a nurse I am so pleased so far with the entire process. Next eye in 2 weeks.

My dad had cataract surgery performed by Dr Manning. The entire experience from the first appointment through the post op visit was extraordinary. Dr Manning, Dr.Nguyen, and Apple are a top notch team of professionals. Each member of the team demonstrated confidence, competence, and compassion. Not only did he receive world class care, he had fantastic results with his first eye, and cannot wait to have his second eye corrected.

Very friendly folks who made me feel comfortable, welcome and confident that I was in the right place.
Exam was thorough, and I didn't feel rushed. Lobby was comfortable, bright and spacious enough to where you didn't feel crowded.
It's a one stop shop with a variety of eye wear to select from if you needed to have glasses made.
Location was easy for me to get to, and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

From the time of my evaluation to the one month post-surgery follow up, every person who helped me was very nice, had a good personality and was very professional/thorough, making me feel very secure and comfortable with my decision to get SMILE surgery. They even set a follow up for 6 months post surgery to make sure my eyes are still doing well. My eyes healed up exactly how they said they would but without any halos or weirdness, other than some blurriness in my left eye far seeing in the distance, which completely went away and to 20/20 just before my one month follow up, and blurry spots on lights which went away around a week or 2 after surgery. Now my eyes are like some brand new body parts seeing 20/20 for the first time in my life! Over a month later and I’m still getting used to not having contacts burning in my eyes or wearing glasses that make everything look smaller. Not having rectangles in front of my vision, not having to take off glasses when changing/showering/swimming, not having to search blindly for them every morning, not having them fly off my face when breakdancing, not having to see through dirty/splotchy glasses or having contacts that rip in eye or get lost—these changes have made all the difference in my world for my daily living and active lifestyle. I honestly see the world in a new/better way now. It seems like a steep price at first, but it’s really not “seeing” how seeing is a source of life, a major sense to be able to perceive and enjoy life. It’s definitely worth it! There was barely even any pain but some scratch ones in one eye that lasted for less than 24 hours. I could immediately see right after surgery also! Enough to even drive home with sunglasses! If you need better vision, do it!
