First time at this office after 10 years at a West Side Maui dentist office. The old office quit accepting out insurance. These guys were list on our HMO website. Great dentist. Young, stylish, well spoken, well educated. Office staff clean, friendly, knowledgeable. X-Ray equipment is brand new technology. Very expensive 3D imaging of your jaws and teeth. I would recommend anyone to go here for a new dentist. Only downside to not get 5 stars was waiting area, furniture, office and ambiance looks slightly outdated, but that is superficial.

As a newbie to Maui this was my first experience with any dentist on island and found Hawai’i Dental Clinic through their website which was easy to navigate. I called late Thursday for a Friday morning appointment.
Arriving Friday morning I found the facilities to be very clean and relaxing. The assistant (Apple) welcomed me as she prepared me for an examination. I found Apple to be very friendly and professional. Dr. Leon Johnson was my dentist who was very informative as he gave me an examination as well as a quote for my challenges and was very obliging as he addressed my questions and financial concerns.
After this experience I would not hesitation to recommend the Hawai’i Dental Clinic in Wailuku to anyone.

The dentist I had (dr. Johnson) seemed super pushy and I was really uncomfortable with having any more work done with him. I might be the outlier, but I definitely didn’t have a good experience with him. He didn’t even bother to show me my x-rays, which I would’ve liked to have seen. Only star is because the receptionists were so kind
EDIT-Oops wrong clinic!! And I don’t know how to delete this review
