I transferred to CPS of O'fallon Ill due to my local CPS in MO. closing down. I was very pleased with my new NP who was very kind and considerate. I have only been for 1 visit so far but I'm happy with CPS.

Very pushy. Didn't listen to me. Never gave me any medication. Asked not to be put on opioids so they never gave me anything. Didn't know what cyp2d6 polymorphisim is.

Check out ANY other pain center! The only reason they got two stars is because of 2 or 3 really kind and compassionate people who work there. Unfortunately that's where it ends. The doctor will be condescending and will not listen to your concerns. My only option was a pain pump with a very expensive medication in it, which was fantastic until I lost my insurance. I haven't even seen the doctor himself in the past year, I don't even know if he actually still exists! Point is that you should save your sanity and time by going anywhere else. You know how there are offices that are in it solely because of their care and compassion for others and then there are doctors in it for the money, this pain clinic is the latter. Good luck to anyone experiencing chronic pain, I am constantly championing for better chronic pain solutions and I am behind all of you 100%! Stay healthy all.

They helped me a lot! I've been going there for a little over 2 years, and I can do more than I've been able to do in 10 years.

You have to sign a contract and be aware that once you do you are now their b!tch! Out of the blue one day they called for a "pop urine and pill count" and I just couldn't drop everything and run up there, I had several conversations with their office manager (Molly) and as I was begging her not to discharge me without at least a 30 supply of meds she laughed and hung up on me. Then when I called her back she threatened to call the police. I never missed an appointment, never was short on meds, never called asking for early fills. I was totally compliant with whatever they wanted. Molly also stated that the urine test showed that my long acting med wasn't present, that has to be a mistake because I had an employer drug test the same day and they found it! This place is horrible to their patients be smart and avoid them.
