Terrible experience---all I needed was a steroid injection ordered by my neurosurgeon to help me get to surgery in two months. After several calls and great confusion, they refused to allow me to see Dr Rasheed until I had at least two office visits first--then maybe I would get the injection ordered by my neurosurgeon. Save yourself some frustration and stay clear of this office. Ridiculous!

I have been a patient for a year or maybe a little less when I chose to stop seeing him. This was mainly because nothing worked for me except taking pills and I didn't want to spend my entire life taking medicine. So after two years of just trying to manage it myself, including suboxone to offset the pain, the pain became too much to handle on my own. So I went back to see Dr. Rasheed this past week. He basically looked at my chart, gave me 2 minute exam, and told me you will not benefit from shots. So therefore, I think you need to go to a pain clinic where they can manage your medicine. So basically, your office is called St. Joe Pain Management, but you only want to help those who can benefit by allowing you to stick a needle in their spine. Which by the way I tried, including a Rhizotomy. My complaint is not only did he refuse to treat me, he also refused to give me any temporary medicine until I could get to see someone else, even just a weeks worth. He told me he was not the emergency room. Then told me he would type of his notes and have them sent to my family doctor so she could do a referral. So tired of doctors being afraid to prescribe narcotics when they have pure evidence of the need. Why become a doctor if you refuse to help those who need it. Very frustrating experience to say the least.
