My family member visited this clinc, the practitioner was wonderful but the staff was less than desirable. After a diagnosis of bone cancer, my uncle reach out to this office to help manage pain from spinal lesions. After several calls to their pharmacy and insurance company to help with meds approval, they called this office several times for help. The staff was rude and unprofessional. They were told they were at the “bottom of list” to have his pain meds pre approved so insurance will pay. My aunt was told that “he will not have withdrawal over the weekend if can’t get his meds” This is the most unprofessional, cruel statement anyone can say to a man in his 80’s who has never taken narcotics in his live and now has Metastatic bone cancer. They were not worried about withdrawal only to be able to some pain relief. Sad

The staff at this place are so rude. I had to quit going here and go to another place. The administrator of the office could care less how any one is treated. The front desk people are rude and uncaring. I don't take any pain meds. I was just going there for some cortisone shots to help my pain yet I was treated like some kind of drug addict every time I walked in the door. Again I don't even take pain pills. I was constantly harassed to pay bills for which insurance had not even paid on yet or were for other Drs in the network that I had already paid for. The only thing they do here is shoot you up with cortisone. They don't do any kind of real pain management like burning nerves or acupuncture or any other number of things that can be done. They just shoot you up with cortisone and hope for the best. The new place I go to has done several other procedures that have helped. The Drs here warned me about having too many cortisone shots which Cabarrus Pain seems not to be concerned about.

First appointment with Dr. Jason Ravanbakht. Will never return due to his unprofessionalism and rudeness towards me. I was referred for pain management after trying conservative measures and completing a dose of medication for breakthrough pain from my neurosurgeon. Dr. Jason Ravanbakht tells me " I can't give you pain medication. I'm not a drug dealer " it's doctors like you that can make a patient feel hopeless. You are definitely in the wrong profession!

The doctor was pleasant to talk to, other than that my entire experience was negative. I waited for two hours to get into the office, apparently they overbook at this place so heads up, expect to spend way longer than expected. My actual visit took less than 15 minutes, where I had a consultation with the doctor and like I said this was the only good portion of the visit. Apparently that 15 minutes of talking only, literally only talked, was enough to charge me over $1000. Must be nice to charge whatever you want, provide bad service, and still have customers.
