I called in this morning to make an appointment as a new patient. I was told that I would have to come into the office (therefore take time off work) just to go there and get a new patient packet so I could fill that out and they could determine if I would be allowed to be a patient. They would get back to me in " a week or so". I worked in the medical field for 15 yrs and though I know this is the way it's headed it strikes me as both ridiculous, uncaring, and certainly not patient friendly.
