Front office: Not setting the proper expectations, twice. Because this is an unexpected expense, I asked if I could be billed for the copay. Both times, on 2 different days, yes, they could post date the payment. I was not told that I was going to need to bring a check (which I do not have) Or make sure I had a bank card, which I never carry with me. I understand that you need the copay, and the only cash I had was for my granddaughters medication, so I used that, or I wouldn't have been seen, per the records clerk. Online, and paper filled information. I spent an hour, filling out forms, which was becoming redundant, so I stopped filling them online, and went in 1/2 an hour earlier than appointment, and filled out the rest of the paperwork, they at least pulled offline the ones I had already done. I sit down, and the lady asked me the same questions AGAIN, did not even look at the paperwork, she finally did, after I stated twice that I had just filled that in. Staff in the back: I saw no smiles, everyone was "cold" the atmosphere was like everyone was there, not because they love what they do, but they weren't allowed to be smiling and friendly, and they were there for the paycheck. I saw or heard no empathy from anyone. Wait, the lady that gave me the shot was almost lukewarm, I am in pain, and I am even making jokes and smiling. Even when I looked at the Band-Aid (ho hum) and said, "What, no superman?" "Nope, for the amount of Band-Aids we use every day that is all you get." I am glad I can get the rest of this done with physical therapy, so I won't have to come back. I will start the process all over again, and get another referral from my Dr. I KNEW I was just a number when the Dr. or staff didn't even ask me about the scoliosis box I checked for existing conditions. If it makes any difference, I work in a job where customer satisfaction and net promotion scores are key. I've been at 100% for the last 5 weeks, even thru all the shooting pain I've been having.

This place is by far the worst healthcare facility I have ever seen in my life! I am very livid about the way they have treated my son. To me their treatment is no different than setting my son aside to die, All because he can not afford these surprise expenses. They seem to care more about money than the patient. I sat and watched first hand that all the horror stories and negative feedback about this place is true. As a person from a medical field family, please stay away from this place.

Short Version.... Dr Chan is great, however the facility and staff deserve negative stars. I was always under the impression that the patient comes first. Here it really seems like every patient is just a number with potential dollar signs. Meaning money first and patient second. That is wrong. Each state is different but I came from a world where you swear an oath that you will do everything you can to help your patients and do nothing to hurt them. This place has done nothing for me but allowed me to get worse. I happen to be a very busy guy with a conflicting work schedule. I was given little to no notice at all when it came to one of my follow ups. I was called less than 24 hours prior. Needed to reschedule because im fresh out of PTO. I've also been putting in a ton of overtime to pay the copay. I called to follow up on my next appointment after waiting a month to get in. Whomever i spoke with, She never cancelled my previous appointment nor did she reschedule my new one. I am also being told that im being charged a no show fee.... Why do i have to pay for something that was his / her fault? That is wrong. Fast forward to the billing department.... My blood pressure was already up. I explained my issue a second time. The staff member in billing was kind of rude. She changes the subject about me having a bill that is X amount of dollars and its about to be sent to collections...... I would have gladly talked about that later. At the moment im wondering if im ever going to walk right again. I said, "Money first, patient second." Then hung up due to being so disgusted and disheartened. Some staff are very caring dont get me wrong. But this money making machine needs some oil added to it. Customer service needs to be retrained. This is just one of many issues i have had with this place since my life changing experience. (Breaking my Foot) I have lost all faith in this place. Because of rude staff and so much incompetence, terrible hours, conflicting work schedule, me, etc.. I will never be the same...

Medical Records are not responding to the request of the FMLA request. Shawna Dr Bakers assistant is not answering her phone. It will jeopardize your job if u don’t communicate well with your work. I’m not recommending them. Dr Baker is a really good doctor but people working around him are not so good
