Dr. Schultze and the team at TLC we're awesome. Felt very comfortable through the whole process. I've born wearing glasses and contacts for 35 years with a -6.00 script. Woke up the next morning with perfect vision. Had my check up the following day I'm now 20/20!

The staff at TLC are friendly and Dr. Schultze did a great job. I healed relatively quickly with not much discomfort from PRK. During the screening process, candidates in my age group (50+) are told they will need to wearing reading glasses. This was not alarming having a pair of cheaters to throw on once in a while to read those small, printed materials. The reason for my negative review is the significance of the deterioration to the near vision was not clearly discussed. I now need a fairly high correction to see anything close up. It has become a nuisance to have cheaters for EVERYTHING. It is nice to have the correction to my distance vision but in my case, I gave up more than I gained from PRK. This is a great procedure for many people suffering from nearsightedness. I have never written a review before and hope future candidates ask more questions and learn from my experience.

I had an appointment for evaluation for PRK. On the day of the appointment the office was closed because of a Covid case. They were closed for two weeks, but not that anybody would have bothered calling and canceling the appointment! I also left messages several times, none of the calls were returned. Poor!

I had a great experience with TLC. My eye surgery went very smooth, everyone was nice and professional. They put me at ease throughout the entire process. My eyes feel great and it was a wonderful experience. The only reason for not giving them 5 stars is because they are not competitive on pricing and are on the higher end of cost compared to their local equally experienced competitors.

#1. appointment was at 1:30. i sat there in a dark room for 2 hours until they finally were ready for me. #2. after the surgery the gave me a bag with a bunch of items and waved goodbye. no one walked me down the 2 flights of stairs. I couldn't even barely open my eyes to see. #3 Went in for my follow up exam and informed him of all of the problems id had since the procedure (which were a list) which seemed to catch him off guard. Most prominent problem is my eyes were dry as a bone. He said he could fix that with 2 plugs, I said great!! 2 weeks later i get a bill that was submitted to my insurance company for $700. I had no idea this was not included with my followup and would have appreciated a little heads up and not been blindsided by a $700 bill. not quite sure what i paid for with the actual surgery cost but an extra $700 blindsided is completely outrageous. I would defiantly not recommend going here and seek a more up front and ethical Dr. Quite honestly i wish i never got this done and had my old fateful glasses back....
