I have been going to see Dr. Wert for a little over 3 years. It all started when the doctor at St. Luke's North had referred me to the Spine and Pain Management facility. Since I was still on Workers Comp, I had a list of doctors to choose from, I went through a big list of doctors and I came upon Dr. Wert. Dr. Wert is the most caring, sympathetic doctor that I ever had to deal with. He always listens to what I have to say. Any time I have appt with him, he gives me treatment options but also lets me think about them. And let me tell you about the office staff, they are truly a gift from God. I would go on and on about the doctor and office staff. Truly a god send from heaven.

My husband and I were in a car accident a year ago. We were rear ended by a drunk driver. My husband sustained worse injuries thank me. Pain management gave him an array of pills none of which worked to dull his pain. He went for injections in his back which did not help at all. When I called for medication for him to help relieve some pain he was giving something they have him a year a go that did not work and they were aware that it did not work that's why it was stopped to begin with. I asked if he could he could get Percocet to at least let him sleep comfortably until his next injection date which was 2 weeks later. I was told no. That they only use that as a last resort. ..this is a last resort. My husband was used as a guinea pig to try any medication they threw at him all the while he's in excruciating pain. This is the biggest joke I've ever seen. They allowed their patients to be on pain while collecting tons of money from insurance companies. There is no compassion or understanding just $$

Mixed review. I have had great service and then really bad service. Staff does at times now seem confused. I end up confused by their confusion. Changed insurance lately and had no issues with this at other providers. Insurance knowledge especially on medications can be lacking. Waiting 3 weeks now for an answer on a prescription question. Again its mixed reviews. Not seeking anyone else at this point but wish that i could get answers in a timely fashion and leave there knowing exactly what to do. Billing is also an issue and asking a question leads to an interrogation lol. I found that funny.

I love the staff here! Dr. Wert is great! He listens to the problem, explains what he’s doing during his procedure and everyone is friendly and helpful! I highly recommend him & the other doctors here.
