Came here some weeks ago to get some x rays and blood work done. Facility was clean, nurse was friendly and made me feel comfortable, and the doctor was very thorough. I have high confidence in the health care here.

Bryn Mawr Hospital is a nice hospital. All staff members are friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to help you. The Drs there are very professional and they have many different specialists located here. They have the best gift shop in any other hospital. You can purchase any type of item from sweatshirts to food and drinks. The lady who runs the gift shop is friendly and keeps it well stocked. Their Cat Scan dept is very clean and everyone who works there makes sure your comfortable and they explain everything they are doing. Their IV team used a ultrasound machine for people who are a hard needle stick. The whole place in general is clean and everyone there is friendly so I definitely recommend this hospital for any procedures or testing you need.

Every member of our family has been treated by the staff at Bryn Mawr Hospital over many years. The emergency room staff provides superior care, the doctors and nurses and other staff are incredibly caring and attentive. Having spent several days in the ICU, I can say that we are incredibly lucky to have a local hospital with a staff and facility of this quality. Expert treatment and extreme kindness have been extended to all of us. Thank you.

As a trans woman, I am usually terrified to go to hospitals. I waited 3 weeks to get checked out for chronic pain and numbness in my left arm and shoulder due to the anxiety of possibly going to the hospital and being treated unfairly. Let's start with the universal positives. I was in and out of the ER very quickly. I spent around 2 hours total in the building, and never hit the waiting room. The staff was professional and knowledgeable, they didn't speak to me in a condescending way, and they genuinely listened to me and answered my questions thoroughly. Onto the trans experience. I expected them to hand me a form to sign in and hoped for a preferred name/gender option so I could fill that out and hope for the best, that didn't happen. I told the woman at the front desk my name followed by my legal name, and she simply verified which name my insurance was under and that was done. The nurse immediately called me in and asked my name to which i once again said my name and legal name, and she started a trend of going above and beyond to make me comfortable. She told me that my name could be changed in the system, but she wasn't sure how to do it. She said "don't worry, I'll figure it out" and then asked how I'd like to be addressed. Long story short, from that point on ever doctor, nurse, x-ray technician, etc called me by my name and pronouns. The x-ray tech even took careful steps to make sure I didn't feel indecent or exposed, which may sound like a "of course he did" moment, but I've literally never had a medical professional worry about that before. The nurse popped into my room a while later just to tell me she got my name changed, and I was eventually sent out with a bunch of prescriptions to fill and paperwork that said my proper name on it and wound up smiling the entire way home. The entire night staff deserves praise.

UPDATE: My fiancée ended up in the hospital for a total of 26 days (22 in ICU, on a ventilator for 6 days). They are incredible!! Bryn Mawr saved his life and I will be forever grateful to the amazing team they’ve assembled!! I can’t say enough good things about the nurses, respiratory therapists, PCT’s, 1:1’s, every one of the amazing employees, even the cashier in the cafeteria for that smile I so desperately needed at that moment, every employee I came in contact with was incredible!! THANK YOU!! AMAZING hospital!!! Every single employee from janitorial through attending physician have been incredible caregivers! After a couple of really bad experiences with Main Line Health system in the last month or so, I was really nervous to take my fiancée there. It has been the best experience (as good as it can be considering he's been in the hospital for 3+ days. I can't thank the staff enough for their compassion, understanding, and empathy. So happy with the care he has received!
