More than a year later, I am still fighting them for money they say I owed because my insurance did not cover something. Well, they should not have lied to me about the facility and my coverage there. They always say, "Don't worry, everything will be fine." and reply "Yes" whenever I ask if I am covered. Now, I asked dozens of times. And after two procedures, the answer went from YES to KINDA to "Not at the facility we worked on you, but the doctor was covered".... which means NOT COVERED to my insurance company. We just got a strange call from their legal department. I am to guess that they want the $10,000 they claim I owe them for an ablation which should cost about $500. And... it should have been insured. But it was at the wrong facility...my doctor's facility. He wanted the money for a repeat customer. Precinct Line Road is not insured by United Healthcare Choice, but Plano facility is covered. So, after treating me at the wrong facility at least twice, they moved me to a new doctor and a new facility. But... the gigantic bills lingered in the insurance system. Now that they have been queried, and reviewed and buried in soft peat, with requests for coverage, this has finally cycled back to the Doctor's Legal Department whom we tried to talk to for a year. We smelled a rat somewhere. We were already told we overpaid and were owed less than $100. The check came and we cashed it. Now we are getting called from their Legal Team? Are you kidding me? After the doctor and his office lied to me? After the medical center told us everything would be OK and took our Self Pay payments? Someone opened their mouth at the facility and said they saw our self-pay payment taken, but the paperwork for self pay was not processed, nor approved and that was not normal. So, my guess was, they quietly buried the paperwork so they could charge our insurance. Then the bills started showing up. Gigantic ones. $15,000 for Anestesia. Wild prices for everything. Some covered, some not. It was a mess. And the bills kept coming. We would always get confusing answers, partial credits, and various claims of what was insured and what was not. What happened to "Yes, you are insured"? We even had special person assigned to us to make sure we paid all our bills and got answers to questions. But she did not tell us about Self Pay and what it was supposed to cover and that we should never have been billed at all for any procedure line items. This nightmare was causing severe emotional distress while being at level 8 pain. The truth is, all I maybe needed was an ablation in the right spot, maybe a steroid shot and a massage. Not willy nilly procedures all over the place. Eight places at a time in my spine. Just to make sure they got it. Charging for each one and putting me into mild shock. One or two probably would have done it. Not eight. This is pain management when it is done without testing or attempts to minimize the impact of the procedure and the bill. Wildly inappropriate.

The doctor I saw there today was rude and condescending he spoke over me every time I tried to speak for myself I would not recommend this place at all don't even waste your time

Dr Howard is professional and his staff is are very helpful. I must say I give you 5 stars. If you have true pain come see Texas Pain Relief Group and Dr Howard. I was to him by Dr Hussey. Keep up the good work.

These Dr's are Excellent!! Couldn't have asked for a better Specialist if I had to!! My daughter made my appointment here, which I've never been here, but sooo glad she made a great choice!! Thanks staff, you made my Dr visit extremely comfortable!!
