I was very happy with my visit and the care I received. I paid, in March, $350 up front towards my "deductible" and it wasnt nessecary. My insurance ended up paying 100% of my MRI and they just kept my money. Now we are in August and I noticed the mistake only by accident. When I called, the woman was very nice and respectful and told me I did have a refund of $350. My issue- If i hadn't caught the mistake I would have never known because they obviously didn't think it was worth mentioning. I have worked in an Optical office since 2009 and I have never done that to a patient. Please check all your insurance benefits before having this problem yourselves. The question to ask is: If they file your claim as "in house" will it be paid 100%? Your deductible shouldnt be paid to them, pay it directly to your insurance company!!
