Everyone was very friendly, professional and helpful. Only suggestion I have, dont totally shut down the cafeteria between 10am and 11am. Up at 6am, drive an hour to get here, get checked in, loved one heads to pre-op, I'm looking for my first cup of coffee and a bite to eat. Even a biscuit and piece of sausage would be better than nothing. A lot of people get stuck with waiting for loved one's surgery scheduled then. I wasn't the only one looking for food and HOT coffee. I will add, I found warm coffee and a young lady was kind enough to point me to the microwave.
If not for the cafeteria I would rate as a 5 star.

They no longer triage people unless it's a baby (that's understandable). There was a lady that was throwing up in trash cans waiting to see a doc for 4 hours. She should have been triaged back fast.
The staff was great, but the waiting and triage us awful!!!!

My husband had emergency heart bypass surgery on January 28 ,2016 and his care was excellent, Dr.Turner was wonderful as well as everyone who cared for him. His care could not been better. !
We are from Michigan on our way to San Antonio, when he was stricken, a big thank you to this hospital and staff. Much appreciation from .
