Do not go go this clinic if you feel that your health issue may be even remotely serious. They are obsessed with pushing anxiety medication as that’s probably what they do all day and people usually take it happily since that’s what they’re after. But if you go in here with a REAL issue and deny anxiety meds, Carol Looney will glare at you, cross her arms, and say “what do you even expect out of this appointment?” I expect a diagnosis or medicine since you couldn’t seem to do that last time last year! Or maybe to not throw up at work every single day or to be able to eat a meal for the first time in 3 years, even though that’s “my anxiety” according to Carol. I told her that my family doesn’t always believe me and that’s the SECOND she flipped her switch. She didn’t ask me a single question about why I came in after that and turned it towards mental health despite her not being a licensed psychologist or even a doctor. The way she offered me these drugs was EXTREMELY inappropriate based off my symptoms, she told me “I looked anxious at the doctor.” It was my second time there alone, therefore let me take addictive medication because I’m nervous? Does everyone take pills just because they get nervous?!? Despite her not believing me, she told me she would make me an appointment at the GI doctor. She didn’t. I guess I have to die first. 😂 she has never even told me what foods I should avoid with GERD which may have slowed the progression down a lot. I have done a lot of research and have a general understanding of what is wrong with me, but a lot of people don’t. Please avoid seeing any nurse practitioner at this clinic as the knowledge they offer is limited, they just want to hand out mind and life altering drugs like candy to get you out of the office. This should be illegal. Last but not least, Carol looney said to me “stomach issues never cause anxiety, but anxiety always causes stomach issues.” If you had a raging stomach issue for years while being told to taken xanex, I think you’d be anxious too. I feel I was rushed out because I won’t take addictive medication that she doesn’t even know if I need or not since she clearly did not have much understanding of GERD. My goal is not to get anyone in trouble, but if I were a different person I may have accepted that medication and I’m not sure what my fate would be, and I don’t want that for any of my friends or family. Do better for yourself than this place.

The entire staff was wonderful! They were all nice and listened to me. I never felt like they were rushed (like I have at other places). They took the time to give me options and resources and they made sure that I was well informed and understood the plan of treatment they were suggesting. I was suprised and very happy with how caring they all were. Great job!
