I am writing this review on behalf of my son. He is a minor and started seeing Dr. Nevins this past June. He was diagnosed with medical challenges that make some of his behaviors not his fault. As a mom, it is so hard to watch your child struggle and hurt. We had tried counseling in the past at a different place and he hated it. The person he saw made him feel devalued and that what he was experiencing didn't matter. When Dr. Nevins said he would see my son, I was both excited and nervous, wondering what my son would think. After the first session, my son came out and couldn't stop talking about what a great guy Dr. Nevins was. Since then my son has seen him weekly and it is the highlight of his week. Dr. Nevins has helped him with ways to manage his stress and anxiety. He has worked closely with the school to ensure he is being fully supported, so he can be successful. He has been there to listen when he is facing challenges at school and cheer him up when he is feeling defeated. He has and is walking through some of the hardest things he may ever walk through and he does it so well. Most importantly, he has made my son feel important, valued, and loved. My son trusts him, admires him, and takes what he says to heart. He has been a great role model for him and the changes we are seeing at home have made for a much better overall environment. Dr.Nevins goes above and beyond to ensure my son knows he is FOR him and THERE for him when needed. Dr. Nevins truly cares about what is in his best interest. We couldn't have asked to be paired with a better person! We are beyond thankful for the care, patience, and kindness he shows each and every week!

I don't typically do reviews, but when people impact your life in such a positive way, I think its important for others to know. 17 years ago I started seeing Audrey Nevins. From day one, I knew she was going to be a great fit for me. Audrey was real, authentic, caring, and filled with so much wisdom. I saw her for a few years and then moved. I often thought back to the sessions with her and things she taught me. I was thankful for that experience and I was thankful for her. Fast forward to last May when I decided I want to get back into counseling to become the best version of me I could be. By chance, my family had moved to Hudson and I found out Audrey was practicing just down the road from where I lived. I started back seeing her in May and she has helped me more than I could ever put in to words. She has challenged me, spoke truth in love to me, and has helped me navigate and process one of the biggest and hardest change in my life. She listens and never judges. She seeks to understand instead of just trying to be understood. I have never met someone who truly cares about people, the experience they have, and the care they receive like Audrey does. I have watched her ask people if they would like water, carry their bags, and even washing down every door knob and chair in the building. She truly wants every person that walks through the door to feel that they are in a safe place. She wants them to know they matter and that whatever circumstance they are facing, she is there to guide them through it. I wouldn't ever see anyone else. She is the best of the best! I am forever grateful for her and the impact she has made in my life and the positive ripple effect it has had to my kids and the people around me.

If you guys are open at 8 then be open. I couldn't even leave a message. Your need to catch up on latest gossip isn't as neccessary as our mental health. Thank you very much!

-5 stars... my doctor recommended Midwest went here and they won’t give my doctor my medical records. I’ve called them, my doctor has called them. Lazy and unprofessional

Me and my wife Christina have been going to see Brad Nevins together for several years now and we both know him really we'll he's nice, kind, caring, and he has a really big heart. And in all the year's that we have been going to see him he has never once yelled at anybody and he never raised his voice at anybody. And he would never raise his voice to kids with disabilities either, he's not that kind of guy who would get angry its not in his character he's a good person and a good therapist.
