They nickle and dime their patients and charge for services not yet preformed. Insurance?Doesnt matter you pay them in full and work it out with your insurance company. Cash? Look out! They will charge you for everything!! Pay $1500+ for a crown and in addition to that you pay for an exam. REALLY? What exactly did you exam to constitute charging an exam fee?

I am soooo happy that I chose to go to Meals family dentistry I heard about them on the radio and thought I would give them a try and they 100% absolutely changed my life and mouth for the better! I am so happy to be able to smile and talk normal again! They went above and beyond both times!! I highly recommend them to anyone! I feel like I couldn't thank Dr. Meals or my dental assistant enough but thats because they made sure I was totally out of it so I felt no pain so, here's my Thank you and I am so pleased with what you guy's have done and am looking foward to finishing the rest!!

I've read all the reviews, good and bad, and I'm very happy to say my experiences at Meals Family Dentistry has been positive. When I first went to Dr. Meals it had been over 30 years since I'd been to a dentist. When he asked me why so long I simply told him "fear and money". I guess there is only so much that can be done on the money issue, but I can say my fears of the dentist have pretty much disappeared. (Now my fear is ever having to ever find another one.) Anyway, after 30 years of no dental care, you can imagine the shape of my teeth. I needed a deep cleaning, a crown, a couple of fillings replaced and a wisdom tooth removed. It wasn't cheap, but my experience was great! The sedation worked as it should have. I barely remember leaving my house, I have a vague recollection of trying to get out of my car once I arrived at the office and a vague recollection of making my way into the house after I got home. The sedation worked great for me and I had very little pain or discomfort following the procedures. Since then I have had nitrous oxide and novocaine for a filling. I must admit I was a little bit anxious at first, but Dr. Meals noticed my discomfort, assisted in adjusting the fit of the nitrous mask, and made me quite comfortable. I would never have thought I would say anything at the dentist was a piece of cake, but it was. Money is still an issue, as my insurance does not cover dental, but the money is worth it to me at this point. Because of his kind compassion for his patients and his staff, I keep up with cleanings and check ups with no trepidation. I always get Abby for my cleanings and xrays, etc., and she is awesome, kind and compassionate. I hope I never have to worry about finding another dentist. I'm home with this one.

Dr. Meals and his office staff are TOP notch! The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. My children have special needs so we do not always feel welcome at places. His staff goes above and beyond to make the children feel comfortable and they take the time to explain the importance of good hygiene to them in a FUN way. THANK YOU Happy Mom :-)
